Craig Maxwell, 28, Sean Murphy, 41, Emma Moseley, 28, Kirsty Watson, 22, and Susan Murphy, 37, all from Dunfermline, appeared at the town’s sheriff court today, charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, which relates to the supposed supply of forbidden drugs.
Sean Murphy was fully dedicated and remanded in custody until his next manifestation on Friday.
The others were released on bail and their case was committed for added examination.
Det Supt Beattie added the arrests should act as a deterrent to others and officers would carry on tackling elevated level drug dealers.
The force added the convulsion, which took place over the weekend, was a important drugs recovery.
In a separate incident, drugs worth an estimated £85,000 were seized in a raid on a house in North Lanarkshire.
Fife Constabulary alleged the drugs included cocaine, amphetamine and cannabis resin. The pair have been charged on doubt of being concerned in the supply of amphetamines and possession of cannabis with target to supply.
